Delete your MasteryMind account

On the web

1. Sign in to MasteryMind.
2. Open Profile from the sidebar.
3. Scroll to Account & Security → Danger zone and choose Delete account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm, then choose Delete my account.

In the mobile app

1. Open the MasteryMind app on your iPhone or Android phone.
2. Tap the You tab in the bottom navigation bar.
3. Scroll to the Account card and choose Delete account.
4. Type DELETE in capital letters to confirm, then tap Delete my account.
5. Confirm the permanent deletion prompt. Your account and data are immediately removed.

On a phone browser (if app is uninstalled)

If you have already removed the app from your phone, you do not need to reinstall it. Open masterymind.co.uk in your phone's browser, sign in, and follow the web steps above. Deleting from the web permanently deletes the single account behind both.

What gets deleted

• Your profile, display name and email address
• Every subject, exam board and exam date you have added
• Your streak, XP, level and place on any leaderboard
• Every quiz answer, mastery score and study session
• Your notification and reminder settings, on every device

Deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone. We keep anonymised counts of how the app is used — how many people started a quiz on a given day, for example — which can no longer be linked to you or to your email address. Copies sitting in our encrypted service backups are overwritten as those backups roll over; we never restore a deleted account from one, and backups exist only so we can bring the service back after a failure.

Before you delete: subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription, so cancel it first — on the web that is Subscription → Manage subscription, and on iOS or Android it is in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Before anything is deleted we check both our own billing record and Stripe; if either still shows a live subscription the delete stops and tells you, so you are not left paying for an account that no longer exists.

Take a copy first

If you would like to keep your revision history, use Profile → Account & Security → Download my data before you delete. It gives you a JSON file of your profile, subjects, streak, XP, mastery scores and activity log.

If you cannot sign in

Email hello@masterymind.co.uk from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm it is you, delete the account, and reply within 30 days — usually much sooner.
