Paper 2: Telescopic Astronomy is also 1 hour 45 minutes and covers topics including telescopic observation, solar system discoveries, and cosmology. There is no coursework or controlled assessment; however, students are expected to undertake practical observations as part of their learning, which are examined within the written papers.
