    A

    Adjective Agreement
    The rule that adjectives must match the noun they describe in both gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural).AQA

    C

    Cognate
    A word that looks similar and has the same meaning in both Spanish and English (e.g., el problema, el tráfico).AQA
    Connective
    A word or phrase that links sentences or ideas together (e.g., sin embargo, además).AQA

    F

    False Friend
    A word that looks like an English word but means something different (e.g., largo = long, not large).AQA
    False Friend (Cognate)
    A word that looks like an English word but means something different.AQA

    I

    Imperfect Tense
    A past tense used for descriptions, repeated actions, or setting the scene in the past.AQA
    Infinitive
    The unconjugated, base form of a verb, ending in -ar, -er, or -ir (e.g., hablar, comer, vivir).AQA
    Intensifier
    A word used to strengthen an adjective or adverb (e.g., muy, bastante, demasiado).AQA

    Justification
    Providing a reason for an opinion, usually introduced by connectives like 'porque', 'ya que', or 'puesto que'.AQA

    N

    Near Future Tense
    Formed with the present tense of 'ir' + a + infinitive (e.g., voy a salir).AQA

    P

    Preterite Tense
    A past tense used for completed, single actions at a specific point in the past.AQA

    R

    Reflexive Verb
    A verb where the action reflects back on the subject.AQA
    Register
    The level of formality in language.AQA

    S

    Subjunctive Mood
    A verb mood used to express doubt, wishes, or hypothetical situations.AQA
