Create your first class
Name it, then set the subject, exam board and year group it teaches.
Add your students
Pick them from your licensed roster, or share the class code and let them join themselves. Either way they pick up the class’s subject and board, so their first session is already the right specification.
Set work with a due date
It appears on each student’s home page under “Set by your teacher”.

How that compares
We are not the cheapest per pupil, and it would be silly to pretend otherwise. Seneca sells a whole-school annual licence — their help centre quoted £646 ex VAT a year for a school of 600+ pupils when we checked on 2 September 2026 — and Cognito starts from £10 + VAT per student per year.
Those platforms deliver content. What you are paying us for is the marking: a written or photographed answer graded against the mark scheme, plus past-paper import and 200+ vocational awarding bodies. Cover one department rather than a whole school and the arithmetic looks very different — ask us on the demo form and we will put a figure to your numbers.

Common questions
Do teachers need their own licences?
No. All teacher accounts are free and unlimited. You only pay for student licences.
How does domain licensing work?
You add your school email domains and we verify them. After that, a student who signs up with an address on one of those domains automatically receives your school's tier — no manual assignment. Verification is done by hand today, so email schools@masterymind.co.uk once you have added a domain and we will confirm it, usually the same day.
Our school runs on Gmail. Can we still sign up?
Not through the self-serve trial: we cannot verify a consumer mailbox domain, because doing so would license every stranger who happens to use one. Book a demo instead and we will set the school up for you.
Can we add more students later?
Yes. You can adjust your student count at any time through the school admin dashboard, and billing adjusts with it.
