What is Turkish?
Studying Turkish at GCSE or A-level involves developing competence in listening, speaking, reading and writing, while exploring the cultures of Turkey and Turkish-speaking communities. You will learn to communicate confidently in everyday situations, express opinions, and understand authentic materials such as news articles, films and songs. Career paths and opportunities for Turkish students
Translator or Interpreter
Turkish is in demand for translating documents, interpreting in legal or medical settings, and subtitling media. You could work for agencies, international organisations or as a freelancer.
