- Aesthetic Quality

- Cardiac Output
- The volume of blood pumped by the heart per minute (Heart Rate × Stroke Volume).Pearson Edexcel
- Cardiac Output (Q)
- The volume of blood pumped out of the heart (left ventricle) per minute.AQA
- Chemoreceptors
- Sensory receptors that detect changes in blood chemistry, specifically carbon dioxide and oxygen concentrations.AQA
- Competitive Situation
- The full, formal version of the sport played according to its official rules and regulations.Pearson Edexcel
- Conditioned Practice
- A modified version of a game or drill designed to focus on a specific skill, tactic, or scenario.Pearson Edexcel

- Eccentric Contraction
- An isotonic contraction where the muscle lengthens while under tension.Pearson Edexcel
- Energy Continuum

- The process by which teachers within a centre compare their marking to ensure consistency.Pearson Edexcel

- Mechanical Advantage
- When the effort arm of a lever is longer than the load arm, allowing a heavy load to be moved with relatively little effort.Pearson Edexcel
- Minute Ventilation (VE)
- The volume of air inspired or expired per minute.AQA
- Moderation
- The process where the exam board reviews a sample of the school's video evidence to ensure the teacher's marking aligns with national standards.Pearson Edexcel

- Stroke Volume (SV)
- The volume of blood pumped out of the heart (left ventricle) per beat.AQA
